No, for regular B.E. / B.Tech admission at UIET Kurukshetra University, you need a valid JEE Main score and must participate in HSTES centralized counseling. OLET (Online Entrance Test) is specifically for lateral entry admissions to the second year of the B.Tech programme for Diploma holders. However, direct admission to B.Tech Biotechnology might be possible based on 10+2 PCB marks.

Yes, you can get into UIET Kurukshetra University's B.Tech programme without OLET. For first-year admission, JEE Main scores are accepted through HSTES counseling, which doesn't require OLET. The On-Line Entrance Test (OLET/LEET) is only for lateral-entry (diploma-to-second-year). Admission into the first year relies entirely on JEE Main and centralized state counseling.
