    VIT - Vemana Institute of Technology also offers a 3-year B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry) course. To get admitted to this course, you must meet the following entry requirements: 45% in 12th. Tech courses, candidates must have appeared and qualified in the COMEDK UGET, KCET or DCET entrance exam. You can also apply through the Management Quota.

    Yes, you can take admission to BTech course at VIT - Vemana Institute of Technology without DCET exam. Admission is available for candidates through CET/COMED-K and Management Quota as per the norms specified by the Government of Karnataka and VTU. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed class 12th in a relevant stream from any recognised board.
