Can I get an admission in IIM calcutta with my academics being- 10 CGPA in Xth, 94 percent in XIIth and 7.2 CGPA in engineering?

That said, the general picture is that Iims prefer a well rounded personality - viz, you have to be excellent in your acads as well as in other co-curricular activities. As you can see from the above a CGPA of less than 6 would fetch you a very low rating. So, its difficult, but not impossible.
