Probably, 130 marks are required in PCM group for engineering and after that, you have to get the best score in CET or JEE Mains. If you have to take admission for IIT, you have to qualify JEE Mains. Hello, Yes, you can get into engineering with 68%. But, it also depends on your marks in entrance exams like CET. Some colleges have their own entrance exams try to crack those, so your chances of getting good colleges will be more.

Dear, For appearing in JEE Mains, you are eligible but for getting NIT/IIT, you need minimum 75% in +2 exam including second PUC or retaining in top 20 percentile in respective + 2 Board Examination. Best wishes.
