Can I get an extended student visa if I study in the USA?

As international students in the United States you will study on F-1 student visa. The F-1 entitles you to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) at the end of your education in USA. If your employer can sponsor H1 and you get in lottery then you can stay in USA. You are advised to seek more details from immigration consultant.
