NIT Rourkela is one of the topmost NIT's and it shortlists students on very high rankings. So, 24000 might not be enough to get a desired stream but you can try for other colleges of good like NIT Srinagar, or IIIT's. Start with first round of counseling itself. Don't wait, you might lose the chanc
