With 97 percentile surely you are eligible for JEE Advanced for IITs you need to clear JEE Advanced. At 97% surely you'll get a NIT but the thing is if you're from general category then probably you'd get branches like metallurgy or chemical engineering and if you're having reservation advantage then probably you can get evn ECE in some good NITs. All the best for your JoSAA counselling.

Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. In order to secure admission in NIIt's through JEE Mains, the good score for the same cab be around 80-90 Percentile. At the same Time, the Candidates must feature among the top 15000-20000 ranks range to get admission. According to the previous year trends, Candidates who featured 1-20000 ranks made it to top NITs across the country. However, some NITs also closed ranks around 2,00,000 (mostly new NITs). So do not worry you will get the one. Just be updated with the things and keep on checking the official site regularly. Best colleges with 97 percentile in JEE Mains:

You cannot get IIT simply based on JEE Mains score but yes you can definitely get into NIT it depending upon the cut off that year.
