    Achieving only 79 percentile in the first session and 61 percentile in the second session of JEE Mains-2024 does not possess a ticket to NIT, under general counseling. Admission in NITs requires higher percentiles to get seats, usually more than 90 percentiles for reserved categories and generally more than 95+ purely for general categories depending on the branch and NIT.
