Can I get any scholarship in India for commercial pilot training? I belong to SC category.

Firstly, Scholarship for CPL in India is provided only to SC/ST candidates. General candidates have do it on their own. Secondly, not all flying Institutes provide that Scholarship. There are only a few which do that. From my knowledge - GATI (Government Aviation Training Institute) provides scholarship based on caste. Is pilot training free for SCs at GATI? YOU can always take a loan to complete your training. Best way - Take an education loan for CPL (provided by many bank for commercial pilot training), by keeping your property to bank. Once done with CPL, apply for a job & after getting job, any bank will provide you loan on the basis of your job for typewriting (INR. 25lacs). The education loan amount depends upon the valuation of the property given to the bank. This loan repayment starts after 1 year of completion of your CPL training and to be repaid in maximum 5 years.
