The primary resource for admission into the B.Tech programme at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is JEE Advanced results, as it tends to nurture the best students from an academic and technical background. 75% in JEE Mains is nevertheless not enough for directly gaining admission into B.Tech by RGIPT, as JEE Advanced is concerned most of the time.
