Can I get biotechnology? My OBC rank is 9575.

    Yes, you will get biotechnology in NITW with this rank. But my suggestion is if you get chemical engineering or metallurgy with this rank in any top 10 NITs, then go for it. It is very much better than biotechnology.

    There is a chance for you to get in top NITs but definitely, you will get it in Nagpur, Calicut. Check out the previous ranks from JOSAA 2017 cut-off for special round.
