You will surely get mechanical engineering with a rank around 17K. If your luck is with you then you may get CS.

Hi there, You can definitely get admission in MEC whereas there is a lesser probability of getting CSE as there are less number of seats and high demand. But I would request you to attend the counselling session as it gives you a greater chance of getting a seat.

Based on previous year data the closing rank for CSE was 10000 and for mechanical engineering 31000. So you will definitely get a mechanical engineering seat in SRM. Best of luck.
