Getting admitted to SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science may be difficult for someone with an SRMJEEE rank of 17647. You will surely get mechanical engineering with a rank around 17K. If your luck is with you then you may get CS.

    Hi there,
You can definitely get admission in MEC whereas there is a lesser probability of getting CSE as there are less number of seats and high demand.
But I would request you to attend the counselling session as it gives you a greater chance of getting a seat.

Based on previous year data the closing rank for CSE was 10000 and for mechanical engineering 31000. So you will definitely get a mechanical engineering seat in SRM.
    Best of luck.
