Aryan, fill your seat preferences after opening your account. Seat allocation will be visible to you by May 10, 2017. Surely will be able to get CSE branch, in case you don't get you can go for next round of counselling.

Though both the colleges are good in academics but LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. In order to get admission in CSE there is an eligibility criteria that needs to be fulfilled by the student. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1.1. Scholarship: Eligibility Qualification/ Qualification previous to Eligibility Qualification: The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. For example, on the basis of performance in 10+2 for Undergraduate Programmes LPUNEST: (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test)Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main )Performance in Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery AwardsScholarships/ Fee Benefits for Toppers of School Education Boards 2.2. Financial Aid : Financial Aid Need Based, Financial Aid for Serving/ Retired Defence/ CAPF/ Para- Military Personnel and their Dependents, Financial Aid to Orphans, Financial Aid to Persons with Certain Disability. Hello Aryan, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.
