 The UGC NET Exam is conducted in more than 80 subjects in India. Each subject has different syllabus as per the NTA UGC NET Board. Well the Exam pattern for the UGC NET is as follows. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in two phases UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2.

 It is good to get knowledge about the paper pattern before start the preparation for the exam. According to UGC NET guidelines, exam pattern is provided below. UGC NET exam has two papers that are - Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 consist common General Aptitude Test, which consists questions based on Reasoning Ability, Comprehension Reading, Mental Ability, and General Awareness etc. Paper 1 contains 50 questions each of 2 marks. Paper 2 consist of 100 MCQs type questions based on subjects each of 2 marks. There is no minus marking on any negative answer.
