Can I get details about the course on Textile Design and Production during 2016 - 17 to experience both old and new Indian methods?
I have completed a two years diploma course in weaving at Hand weavers' Studio in London in 2013. I am looking for a course to learn techniques used in India for designing and producing fabrics and using them for garment making, e.g. printing, weaving, dyeing, sewing. I hold a BA in music and LLB.

Naomi,
I am aware of one such Institute in Rajasthan, other than that there is one in Kashmir and I think NIFT or NID can also help. Wish you the best for your career. Remember, your Career is a resultant of your knowledge combined with your passion and expression ability.
