No, admission to GIET University is mostly determined by entrance. But for some courses, the university also admits students based on merit. After receiving a legitimate score on the recognised entrance exam, candidates are shortlisted and, if necessary, counseled. Course-specific entrance requirements must be met in order to be admitted to GIET University. Candidates must submit a valid score from another recognised exam or take the university-level admission exam, the GIETEE. Hence, the university does not offer direct admission

GIET University admission is primarily entry-based. However, the university also accepts students on a merit basis for certain courses. Students are shortlisted based on a valid score in the accepted entrance exam followed by counselling (if applicable). GIET University course admission is subject to the fulfilment of course-specific admission criteria. Aspirants must either appear for the university-level entrance exam i.e., GIETEE or provide a valid score of other accepted exams. However, there is no direct admission provision offered by the University.

The university conducts its exams such as GIETEE for BTech, BCA, BSc, MTech, and MCA courses. The university also accepts national-based entrance exams, such as CMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ OJEE scores for the MBA programme. After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat

No, GIET University does not accept direct admissions for any of its courses. Students must fulfil both the eligibility and selection requirements before applying for any of the offered courses. The university accepts students primarily on an entrance basis. Aspiring candidates must provide the valid score of the accepted exam or appear for the GIETEE conducted by the university itself. In case of any queries, students may reach out to the admission help desk of the university.
