Admission to the Guru Nanak Dev University to most of courses is entrance-based. Only for diploma-level courses, the admission criteria is merit-based. Applicants applying to BTech and MBA courses are required to appear for JEE Main and GMET, respectively, to get shortlisted for admission. Apart from BTech and MBA, the University shortlists candidates based on the entrance exam conducted by the Head of the Department.
