    Generally, candidates cannot get direct admission in Kurukshetra University for any of the courses. However, some lateral entry options are available for candidates. Also, some seats are reserved for certain candidates, such as those belonging to the defence personnel category, etc. They can get admission in the university through a special selection process.

    Kurukshetra University normally does not offer direct admission for undergraduate programs such as the Bachelor of Technology (BTech). Kurukshetra University admits students to its BTech programs either on the basis of merit or through entrance exams like the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), which are given to candidates who live in Haryana.
