<p>National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur does offer direct admission. Aspirants need to meet the course-specific requirements for direct admission. Candidates who have qualified GATE are eligible for direct admission in M.Tech course.&nbsp;</p><p>Aspirants who have passed Class 12/ any Diploma of a minimum of one year after Class 10/ ITI certificate after Class 10 followed in each case by one year relevant experience are eligible to direct admission in O Level course. For A Level, applicants must pass O Level or government recognised Polytechnic engineering diploma/ graduate, followed in each case, by one year relevant experience.&nbsp;</p>

Candidates who don't qualify for GATE must take an institute-level exam.
