No, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management does not have the provison of direct admission. Candidates seeking admission must register for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) for the MBA course. Based on the marks secured in SNAP, the institute will release a merit list of selected students to appear for the next round. SBIM Pune final selection process includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test (GE-PI-WAT).

Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune offers four post graduate management courses like MBA, MBA (Innovation and Entrepreneurship), MBA (Leadership and Strategy) and MBA Executive. SIBM does not offer direct admissions to candidates. For admissions, it is necessary for every candidate to appear for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). It is a national level common entrance test for admissions to all the post graduate courses at SIBM. Besides this, the minimum eligibility criteria require a candidate to have at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) or above in graduation from a recognised board/ university.
