The SR Institute of Management and Technology provides management courses such as MBA and PGDM in addition to normal undergraduate and graduate-level engineering courses in a variety of subjects. The AICTE and AKTU rules are followed for accepting students for different courses. The Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Admission Test (UPSEE-AKTU), admits students on the basis of merit. However, the institute follows the procedure of the affiliated university when admitting students for management quota seats.
