For the BLS LLB course, the college uses a Centralised Admission Process (CAP), and admission is mostly determined by merit. Candidates must either take the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or, depending on the category, be qualified based on their Class 12 grades. While students in the reserved group could have distinct qualifying requirements, general category students are chosen by GLC Mumbai based on merit.

As a matter of fact, admission to this five-year integrated BLS LLB course conducted at the GLC in Mumbai strictly depends on the score of MHCET law. To get admission to BLS LLB, candidates are eligible only if they obtain an aggregate of at least 45% in Class 12 from a recognised board. The score of MHCET Law is mandatory for admission to the BLS LLB course. The direct application is not available at GLC Mumbai until and unless a candidate qualifies for the MHCET Law exam.
