The university offer admission to a few of the courses on merit-basis. Thus, aspirants are not required to appear for any of the entrance examination and are admitted based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Candidates applying for a BTech course with a JEE rank can get direct admission without registering for AEEE. For admission without required marks in the last qualifying exam, students should get in touch with the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission office.

Direct admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for B.Tech programmes typically requires candidates to pass the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering (AEEE) or JEE Main scores. Admissions are competitive, and eligibility requirements such as minimum academic credentials and entrance exam scores are closely followed.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham offers limited direct admission opportunities for BTech programs, but it depends on the specific programme and your eligibility:

    Types of Admission:

    • Entrance Exam Based: This is the primary admission route for most BTech programs. You need to appear for either the Amrita Entrance Engineering Exam (AEEE) or JEE Mains and secure a good rank to be eligible.
    • Direct Admission (Management Quota): A limited number of seats are allocated for direct admission under the management quota. However, there are specific eligibility criteria:
    • Minimum marks requirement in Class 12 (usually 60%+) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathema
    ...more
