Can I get direct admission in Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran? Can you help in the admission process?

I have 55% in 12th boards.

    CGC (Chandigarh group of colleges) is a group of colleges for various courses like B.Tech, MBA, BCA Hotel management etc. Admission process in CGC varies according to courses. But there is one common process for all ( for management quota seats) I. e. Based on your previous academics, for example if you want to opt for B.Tech in CEC (One of the engineering colleges ) which branch you can opt depends on your 12th board examination result. Although, you can book your seat before result by telling your expected percentage. This also depends on first come first serve basis. So, visit CGC ASAP n book your seat.     First of all CGC Chandigarh group of colleges is a group of colleges for various courses like B.Tech, MBA, BCA Hotel management etc. Admission process in CGC varies according to courses, But there is one common process for all ( for management quota seats) I. e.     In reality I don't have a lot of thought regarding CGC LANDRAN yet I would prescribe you to go for CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY. Because Arrangement is exorbitantly worthy. LPU (Lovely Professional University) is generally better than CGC (Chandigarh Group of Colleges) in terms of placements, offering:

  • Higher packages (up to INR 50+ LPA in tech roles)
  • More MNC recruiters (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Better industry exposure & internships

CGC has good placement in core & mid-level companies, especially for engineering and pharma, but LPU has broader and stronger placement records overall.

Yes, you can get admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at CGC Jhanjeri, provided you meet the eligibility:

10+2 in Science or Agriculture (PCB, PCM, or Agriculture)

Minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories)  

So if you score 50% or above in the required subjects, you're eligible to apply.

  • 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics & Mathematics + one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects
