Can I get direct admission in COEP Pune?

<p>No, there is no such provision to get direct admission in any of the UG, PG, or doctoral courses. COEP Technological University (formerly known as COEP) admissions are strictly based on merit only. Therefore, only those candidates who have valid scores/ rank of MHT-CET, GATE, JEE-Main, among others can apply for any of the courses provided by the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP). Hence, the interested candidates need to take these entrance exams according to their choice of course in which they want to enroll.</p>

<p>&nbsp;COEP Pune admission process is completely entrance-examination based. Scores obtained in the entrance exams determine the final selection of the candidates. So, candidates cannot get direct admissions.</p><p>However, there are some exceptions for certain courses and categories. For example, candidates who have completed a 3-year engineering Diploma can apply for direct second year admission to B.Tech courses through a lateral entry entrance exam.
