Admission to the NSUT is granted on entrance exam, considering the students' performance in entrance tests like JEE Main, for B.Tech admissions, and GATE tests for M.Tech admissions. Students need to register by counseling conducted by the respective authorities including JoSAA or Delhi CET. The merit list is prepared on the performance in the exams and further choices submitted during counseling. Detailed guidelines exist on the official website of NSUT.

Candidates' performance on entrance exams, like as JEE Main for B.Tech admissions and GATE for M.Tech admissions, is taken into account while granting admission to the NSUT. Candidates must register through counseling administered by the appropriate agencies, such as Delhi CET or JoSAA. Based on exam results and additional selections made during counseling, a merit list is created. Comprehensive guidelines are available on NSUT's official website.

No, CMAT scores are not compulsory for admissions into the MBA course at NSUT. Even CMAT scores are not the first priority of the admission committee to shortlist the students. Because the university considers the scores of CAT/ MAT for selecting the students. If the seats get vacant, then only CMAT is considered.

You cannot get admissions into BTech CSE course at NSUT without JEE Mains scores. Because the JEE Mains scores are necessary for admissions to NSUT undergraduate engineering courses. Thus, one can only enroll in the programme if they have valid scores in the entrance examination.
