    Hi, Pursuing B.Tech is a good decision, But choosing the right college and right branch is more difficult, you must go more rationally. Apart from Thapar University, there are many other Universities that are better in terms of placements, academics, curriculum, extra-curricular activities, exposure to the students, etc. That Keeping in mind all these factors, only one institute that comes to my mind is Lovely Professional University (LPU).     Well, there is no doubt Thapar Institute Of Engineering And Technology is good for education purposes, apart from Thapar there are many other universities that provide the lost of other facilities to their students like good infrastructure, Scholarships, Placements, and all, for instance, LPU, it's the best option for quality education. Being alumni I would recommend LPU university, it has amazing infrastructure All the facilities are available on the campus itself; a student does not need to go outside for anything. On the campus, Central Library, Hospital facility is available 24*7 for staff and students, shopping mall, Indoor Sports

    Well I can share the details of Lovely professional university which is in Punjab based on which you can make an analysis that what are the positive factors that should be considered while looking for a university or college. In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. For majority of programmes LPU NEST is not mandatory therefore for those programmes student can apply based on their last qualifications percentage marks.     Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide an stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. As far as these colleges are concern, I would prefer Lovely Professional University.
