No, you cannot get direct admission at VNIT Nagpur. Admission is only offered to candidates who qualify in accepted entrance exams. The admission criteria for different courses offered at the institute are as follows:

BTech	JEE Main (Paper 1) + JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling
BArch	JEE Main (Paper 2) + JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling
MTech	GATE + CCMT Counselling
MSc	IIT JAM + CCMN Counselling
MBA	Exam conducted by the institute

No you can not get direct admission in VNIT Nagpur as the institute accepts students only on an entrance basis. You must appear for the accepted exam like JEE Mains, GATE, IIT JAM, etc. and then participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.
