Yes, through management quota students can directly get admission to the Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET). Most students in BIET are admitted according to their entrance exam results, for example, KCET or COMEDK UGET. But to gain admission through direct entrance students have to apply through the management quota seats for the said college. Direct admission usually requires higher fees than regular quota seats, and the candidate gets selected based on previous academic performance and seat availability in the preferred course of study. For Admission in B.E. in Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, candidate must pass PUC or 10+2 with at least 45% marks.
Admission to the B.E. programme is done on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate either in JEE Main examination or Karnataka CET (KCET).
Admission to the M.Tech programme is done on the basis of the rank secured by the candidate in GATE examination or qualifying examination, written exam and Personal Interview.
For M.Tech, candidate with B.E. or B.Tech with minimum 50% marks is considered eligible for admission.
