Yes, there are cases when direct admission is possible, H.M.S Institute of Technology does offer such courses directly, for example, B.E. / B.Tech for which one can apply either from a Diploma in an engineering course with at least 50% marks one will be able to get entry; also students who would have completed 10+2 can get admission on the base of entrance exams like KCET or even in JEE Main with qualifying mark of at least 50%.
