Yes, HNBGU offers direct admission to BTech and BPharm courses as per the university 2023 brochure. For direct entry to both programmes, the aspirant must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirement for HNBGU direct admission to both courses is as follows:
- BTech: Class 12 or equivalent pass from any recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Chemistry, obtained at least 45% aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together
- BPharm: Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with English as one of the subjects and Physics

The Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) does not provide direct admission to any of its illustrious programmes. In contrast, admission to other programmes is determined by CUET UG performance, then counselling is conducted. Prior to March 12, applicants may submit a CUET application for admission to HNGBU for UG programmes. For any of its tempting courses, this college only admit students based only on CUET merit.
