No, it is not feasible to be admitted directly to the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) MBA program. The results of entrance tests such as the MAH-CET, CAT, or CMAT determine admission. The Maharashtra government's Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is another requirement for candidates. COEP employs a merit-based admissions process that takes into account applicants' academic standing, test results, and other requirements. As there is no management quota or direct admittance option, candidates must meet the requirements set forth by the entrance exams and selection processes.

Admissions to all the courses at the College of Engineering, Pune are entirely merit-based. Students are required to qualify the respective entrance exams for certain courses such as BTech, MBA, MTech, BPlan, and MPlan. However, admissions for the PG and Diploma are merit-based. Students are required to have at least 55% in graduation from a recognised college/university to take admission to PG Diploma.
