NMIMS Direct Admission Process varies depending upon the programme opted by the candidate. If a student want to take admission in any of the undergraduate programs, then in that case, a candidate has to clear an entrance exam named “NPAT” and accordingly on the basis candidates’s performance in NPAT, admission is granted.
For admission to postgraduate programs like MBA, candidate’s performance in “NMAT” by GMAC, followed by case discussion followed by personal interview as well.
Talking of the admission to Ph.D progams, it is done through conducting of a specific entrance exam followed by an interview.
NPAT Exam - NPAT stands for National Test for Programs After Twelfth and it is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute for Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai to admit students for undergraduate programs like BBA/B.Com/B.Sc etc.
To occupy a guaranteed seat through direct admission in NMIMS through Management Quota, here are some of the essential conditions to be fulfilled by every candidate wishing to pursue MBA. The eligibility criteria for NMIMS Direct Admission through management/NRI quota is as follows -
- The applicant must have earned a degree from an accredited college.
- Student must have received a graduation grade of at least 50% in any discipline.
- Students in their last academic year are also eligible to apply, however they must receive a final grade of at least 50% (45% for SC/ST).
- Only a single mark sheet with all compulsory subjects passed is mandatory.
