With 87% in Class 12, getting ECE at Thapar is tough. ECE is a high-demand branch, and cutoffs usually go 90%+ (often much higher), especially without a strong JEE Main score.

You might have a slim chance:

in later counselling rounds
or with Punjab quota
or if you also have a decent JEE Main percentile
