Can I get entry in the second year of B.Tech without entrance exam If I have completed my diploma?
I'm pursuing Diploma in computer engineering. Can I get direct second year admission in the college? Do I have to give any exams for the admission?

Yes, you can opt for lateral entry in the 2nd Year, but it depends on your percentage or CGPA, etc. Some colleges organize entrance exam for lateral entry, some not. Also, if there are vacancies in that college or the college have different reserved seats for lateral entry. It depends on your percen

Yes, you can. There is no requirement of any entrance exam for Diploma holders. So, you can get direct admission.

No. It is necessary to take B.Tech lateral entry entrance test for all the good and reputed colleges.
