Can I get fashion design or communication at Mumbai NIFT? My NIFT general rank is 3344 and OBC rank 612.

Hi Seema, According to last year's cut off, OBC rank 611 got the last seat of Fashion Design department in NIFT, Delhi and OBC rank 961 got the last seat of Fashion Communication department in NIFT, Mumbai. So with an OBC rank 612, you can try for FC but it will be tough for FD.

Yes, you can take the past year's counselling as a reference but you cannot completely rely on it. NIFT counselling is based on luck as well. It depends on the people ranking better than you what they take and what they leave for you. You can always consider all the permutation and combination befor

I'm sorry to say, but with this rank, you wouldn't get any course in NIFT-Mumbai since Mumbai campus is one of the top campuses of NIFT. You can anyway sit for the counselling session and you may get any other campus.

But according to last year's counseling at this rank students occupied all branches at NIFT Mumbai. Should I take past year counseling as a reference or not?
