The COMEDK's cutoff has drastically fell from past 23 years. I secured a rank of 1.5k and was expecting a seat in preferences as you mentioned at BMSCE, MSRIT and at least mechanical in RVCE. All my efforts in the first round of counselling were in vain. I had a chance in the second round of counselling, which I want able to attend. Therefore, try to give your play in the first round of counselling, but surely attend the second round of counselling too. You may get ECE @ PESIT (south) or ECE @ BIT.
