The scope of biotech in academics / teaching: Teaching is the noblest of all professions and must be undertaken by the smartest of souls in the industry. If you have the right understanding of the subject and you think you can ignite the flame of Research in your students then go for it. You will excel. Yes, but I would suggest you go for post graduation in biotechnology. Since it will increase the chances if getting the job and also you get the knowledge and specialisation in your field. The area in which you have most chances of getting the job is research area. Then institution, laboratories, research centre, etc., depends on your specialisation.
