    The scope of biotech in academics / teaching: Teaching is the noblest of all professions and must be undertaken by the smartest of souls in the industry. If you have the right understanding of the subject and you think you can ignite the flame of Research in your students then go for it. You will excel. The Scope of Biotech Research: I am not going to give you any shiny promises. You want to get into research jobs, enter only after your Ph.D, it has a huge scope for high paying salaries but your Ph.D must be in the relevant field and your IQ must match up with industry standards.

    Yes, but I would suggest you go for post graduation in biotechnology. Since it will increase the chances if getting the job and also you get the knowledge and specialisation in your field. The area in which you have most chances of getting the job is research area. Then institution, laboratories, research centre, etc., depends on your specialisation.
