You need to have a rank under 30 if you're from general category. If you belong to OBC/SC/ST, then any rank below 5,000 would end up in landing you a seat in this prominent college.

General rank? General rank must be within 20 thousand, although I am not sure because it's the first time HBTU is taking admissions through JEE Mains marks.
