Can I get idea about preferences?

If there is any clause like if we get college/university in our 1 to 10 preferences then the admission will be compulsory in that particular college/university for the first round of admission. Or we will still eligible for second round of admission if we would like to go for other options.

If you lock your preferences in the first round you can still wait for the second round to get your preferred university.
