Can I get IIT as a lateral entry from 2nd year after doing B.Tech 1st year in any other engineering college? What is the procedure?

Hi,
No, only institute under Mumbai, Pune and other state universities have such provisions. IIT admissions are done strictly on the basis of JEE and there is no lateral entry scheme available.

so is it possible from nit or dtu this year and I can join IIT from next year through Jee advanced.
