The majority of institutions and colleges demand mathematics as one of your core topics in the 12th grade if you want to pursue a BE in Computer Science and Engineering. This is because computer Science which includes topics like algorithms, data structures and programming heavily relies on mathematics.
For students who did not take mathematics as their primary subject in school certain institutions might provide an exception or alternate course of study. Although these chances are uncommon some may grant admission based on entrance tests or unique credentials in pertinent fields.
