Can I get into IIM-A if I do not have any work experience?
Percentage in chronological order Tenth: 82, Inter: 91, B.Tech: 60.

7 years agoYour B.Tech score is below par for your admission into IIM-A. But otherwise, work experience is never mandatory to get admission into any B-Schools in India baring a few. -
Hi Bharath,
Work-experience is not mandatory to get admission in IIM-A. You can get in with 0 work-ex also (~30% students would be freshers).
Your 10th and 12th scores are not bad, B.Tech scores are a bit low though. To compensate for this, you may need to get a good score in CAT (above 99.5 percentile at least, assuming general category; for reserved categories, it can be lower).
