    The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programme at JUIT Solan is as follows:

    1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).

    2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the mark sheets by the specified date.

    3. Candidates who have cleared the Diploma (Engineering & Technology) examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible to apply.

    Admission to the B.Tech course in JUIT Solan is based on merit in the entrance examinations or merit in the qualifying examination. Entrance-based admission to B.Tech depends on the All India Rank of the candidates in JEE Main. Merit-based admission depends on the candidates’ performance in their qualifying examination. For merit-based admission, the university will conduct counseling in the month of July. Candidates shall be informed prior and they will be allowed a choice of a maximum of three programs.
