As per the website of LPU, the admissions 2020, In order to get a seat in B.Tech CSE, the eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. So, with your 10+2 grades you are eligible to write the entrance exam of LPU which is called LPU NEST. As per my knowledge, LPU has not taken any admission in B.Tech without passing in this test. Moreover this test is not only entrance test but a scholarship test too. You can get scholarships upto 40% on course fee depending upon your performance in LPU NEST. To my knowledge in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST so either you have to score more than 90% in +2 or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. In order to get admission in B.Tech CSE one has to qualify this entrance exam along with this the candidate must have minimum 60% aggregate percentage in 12th class. Direct admission is only e possible if any candidate is having at least 90% or more than 90% in 12th class or if the candidate has 90 percentile in JEE Mains.
