Can I get into SASTRA in ECE,EEE or mechanical branch? I got 98.2% in 12th from AP board and 599/600 in groups.

Yes, you can get into SASTRA in atleast one of the three streams mentioned above. As you would have known already there are 2 steams for admission in Sastra. If you have a JEE score of above 150 then you can enter through stream 1. With your board marks alone you can enter through steam 2.

Hi Ashtakala, you can apply for Sastra university through stream 1 and stream 2.
For stream 1, the selection is done by taking 30% JEE scores and 70% board exam marks. So you can get an admission only if your JEE scores, as well as board exam scores, are good. In case of stream 2, only the board exam marks are considered for admission.
You have a good score in board exam but it is not enough to get a seat as you can apply only through stream 2. You must have atleast 95-97% to get a seat especially for ECE, EEE and mechanical.
Also, you need not apply separately for stream 2 if you have applied for stream 1.
