For admissions in 2024 the minimum is 50% in 12 grade is required and so 70% definitely makes it eligible however passing the entrance test is still needed.

The eligibility criteria is to have: 

A minimum of 50% is required for general and for 45% of SC/ST/ OBC in their 10+2 from recognised board.

Therefore 70% completes the eligibility. But admission is still based on Entrance exams.
