Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai accepts students based on their performance in VITEEE and VITMEE for most courses. VITEEE & VITMEE are computer-based tests whose duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. The said exams contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of subjects consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with each question having one mark. Also, there is no negative marking in VITEEE.
