Can I get job abroad after pursuing IGNOU MBA?

As per the Statistics MBA students of University School of Business (USB) managed to grab 710 offers from leading Multi-Nationals during the campus placements and as result there are more than 174 USB students across the specializations of Finance, Marketing, HR, International Business, Tourism & Hospitality, Business Analytics and Banking & Financial Engineering who have managed to bag offers from more than one company. There has been a surge of 30% in the Multi-Nationals offering a package of Rs. 5 Lacs or more and the number has touched 50 this year. That's why Chandigarh University is considered as one of the best.

Chandigarh university placements 2020-21 for MBA students kicked off to a flying start which saw 210 multinational companies from Banking, E-Commerce, IT, Healthcare, Retail, Business Analytics, FMCG Tourism & Hospitality sectors recruiting fresh talent from Chandigarh University (Best MBA Placements University in Punjab). Global companies like Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Deloitte, Earnest & Young, Danone Foods, KPMG, Reliance Industries, Bank of America, VIVO, ICICI Bank, and ITC selected large chunk of MBA students. The year 2020 saw a jump of 20% in placement offers while a surge of 15% was registered in number of companies visiting campus for placements in comparison to last year. The highest package offered by the Indian multinational for MBA touched Rs. 18 LPA by Go Winning while the highest international package of Rs. 28 LPA was offered by Amazon at Berlin. Both average and median salary packages offered to MBA students at Chandigarh University touched a new high in 2020. More than 30 companies recruited students from Banking & Finance specializations while 100 multinationals recruited students with Marketing and Business Analytics specialisation. A total of 30 companies recruited students with HR specialization while 20+ MNCs students of IT specialization. Some of the companies which offered the highest packages included IT Companies Amazon & Mindtree which offered 28 LPA and 14 LPA respectively, and Financial & Consultancy Global firm Deloitte, which offered an Rs. 8 LPA package to MBA students. Besides that ICICI Bank made a record number of 95 selections in a single day during campus placements 2019-20. There has been a surge of 30% in the Multi-Nationals offering a package of Rs. 5 Lacs or more and the number has touched 50 this year.

<p>Yes, you can get a job abroad. There are certain organisations that do prefer full-time graduation but getting rejected everywhere should not be the scenario. IGNOU is recognised globally as a university. There may be other reasons for the rejection like in the current scenario, hiring is very specific, so hence, maybe your qualification does not match. The post may require someone with experience. Your skillset may be lacking for the position that you have applied for. Relook at the job posts that you have applied for and then see if there are any other reasons.</p><p>Currently, in COVID 19 situation, the job market is very bleak and since you have just done your graduation and if money is not adequate necessary then try doing some additional courses like digital marketing, graphic design, website development. These would be an added advantage and would increase your job prospects too. Well, IGNOU provides distance learning degrees. If you are a graduate from IGNOU you might be able to take admission into some medium level foreign university but it will be a struggle to cope up with the regular programme that too in foreign.</p><p>If you wish you go abroad for MBA, it is advisable to take your graduation in regular mode in reputed universities like LPU and then take your chances in many credit transfer programs which can get you into reputed foreign universities and that too with much less expense.</p>

Hi. Yes, you can get a job abroad. Your concern about having a degree from IGNOU which doesn't hold a very strong credibility as other autonomous institutes does is valid.
