Dear Narain, LPU is not recognised by AICTE, because universities need only UGC approval. The colleges need AICTE approval to run engineering programmes as per rules and regulations. For more details, you may refer to the UGC website, I hope this helps

Hi, Yes, of course. Many of the students are working abroad pursue their education at LPU. LPU is UGC-approved. If a university is UGC-approved, then AICTE approval is not required. It has other accreditation also like Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), Council Of Architecture (COA), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) as well as International Memberships. Thanks.

Hello dear, AICTE is a body which regulates the AFFILIATED colleges who are under the affiliation of various universities but not the universities themselves. Coming to Jobs overseas:
First of all if you are seeking a job in India then you must be aware of the fact that more than 650 companies visit the campus and hire thousands of students through over 900 placement drives. A huge number of former students work in government sector in India as well as many other countries. So there is no problem of any job after graduating from LPU. I hope this will help you.

LPU's placement record is generally strong but varies by course and student performance. Top branches like CSE, IT, and some core engineering and management programs see better placements, with big companies like Microsoft, Google (via off-campus), Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, and Infosys visiting over the years. A few students do get very high packages, but these are exceptions, not the norm. Many students get average packages in the range of 4–6 LPA, especially in mass-recruitment roles. Your skills, internships, projects, communication, and networking matter more than just the college name, even at LPU or any other university.

hi,

Law placements at LPU are decent and growing, but you should keep realistic expectations. Top and proactive students usually secure internships and jobs in law firms, corporate legal departments, litigation chambers, NGOs, and LPOs. The university regularly organizes moot courts, legal aid camps, internships, and interactions with advocates and judges, which help in networking. However, like most law colleges (except a few NLUs), campus placements are not guaranteed for everyone. A lot depends on your mooting, drafting skills, internships, research work, communication, and initiative. If you build a strong CV, LPU can provide platf
